Well this past thursday i went to irwindale for some seat time and testing on the new coilovers which started off great and ended on a bad note. They were great. But i got to comfortable and started getting to aggressive especially going at the banks. I was doing good and i took a bad line and went up into the concrete wall about 50-60 mph and pretty much totaled the car. Thankfully for the safety equipment and the precautions we took building the car from a chassis strengthening point the car took the hard hit really well for the most part and kept me safe. I started tearing down the car to start looking over the chassis and it is totaled. The axle is bent on both sides, bowed really bad as is the PHB, the rear frame is moved alot as you will see in the pix, the subframe is twisted and the shock tower moved as well. The wheel intrusion bar on the passenger side kept the wheel from destroying the firewall. It sucks but that is part of the game, crashes can happen especially when you push those limits, I have no regrets. Already moving on to the next chassis ive located which i will be starting a build thread for soon after i tear this one down. I will be right back out there again real soon. Thanks for following this build and if you liked this one you should already know my next one will be even better.

Really sorry to see this happen. This was such a sweet car. I always loved seeing it in person at Knotts

That sucks man, glad to see you are positive about it though. You are right, its part of the game. On the plus side, most of your aftermarket parts should swap right over to the new chassis so it should keep your costs down a little... Can't wait for the new build.

Same here man. I met you at knotts last year. I had the 13 coyote with twins and a brushed wrap. I'm sure you will back even better in no time.

Sad day for your car. It looks like a lot of parts will be salvageable. Should give you a great starting point for your next chassis.

Bright side is your ok though

Saw this on IG. i figured you'd fix it quick, like all your other mishaps.

Sorry to hear it's totaled. :( Are you going with another SN?

This.

Keep at it, buddy. Sucks to have totaled a 'nice car' compared to the s13 drift missiles most drifters use now to practice. But keep your chin up. Crash looked gnarly, at least. :) just going too fast? seemed a bit MORE power to the rear tires at that moment woulda spun you back in line, no? Just curious.

Glad you're ok man.
That kind of side impact has been bad for a few over the years even if only at 50-60 MPH.
Cars can be fixed.

You seem pretty good with your mechanical and creative skills, I cant wait to see your next car out there.

Whats crazy is I am always at Irwindale lately, mostly for the drag racing. Wish I couldve seen that badass SN95 drifting at the oval track
