Good kill. Both cars are favorites of mine. I think the C5Z probably weighs what? 3250 with a driver.

Oh yeah that is sweet. I would have had a hard time letting that one go.

It was but my priorities changed (wife, kids, debt). I replaced it with a budget C6 build. I kept this build mild, headers, Z06 exhaust, intake, Fast 102 and cam. Looking to add some Trick Flow heads in the near future.

Nice C6, but isn't that about a push or more money than the C5Z?

I'm supposed to run a HCI FRC '99 sometime. He said it dyno'd 460whp, which I thought sounded a little high. Should make for a good race. With my car being about as heavy as Terminators come, I could be in trouble.

I dig it, but that C5Z...

Thanks, yeah my old Z06 was a monster. Stroked LS2 block to 418 cubic inches, All Pro cathedral ported heads, Fast 90, LS2 90mm throttle body, F1A Procharger with a flip drive belt system, plus all the goodies involved with a high horse power build. It dyno'd 770 rwhp @ 13 psi and made over 600 ft lbs of torque at 3000 rpm, it was pullied for 20! In the end I was not happy with the tuner who built it, he could never get it tuned for max power and I lost interest.

That's too bad man. It was gorgeous.

Mine is 3106 with full 18 gallons of fuel, only modification is an aftermarket steering wheel with no airbag. GM quotes 3113 as the curb weight.

What seats are those and how much? Also, how bad is it having non adjustable backs?

They are Arizen seats, they are basically the same shell/layout as a Sparco race bucket seat ( I forget the exact model). They cost over $1500 per seat and are custom made to order. The fixed bucket was not an issue for me and I love having an adjustable seat. You gain an inch of height when you install these seats compared to stock seats and width of the bucket. A 38" waist is max and that's squeezing it. Arizen seats are a great alternative to Caravagio seat which cost over $3000 a piece. If I did it again I would either install a set of Sparcos or some Acura Integra Type R seats.
