Temperature After AFCO Dual Fan H/E install?

Had the unit installed along with a 170* Thermo.
Car was tuned to the thermos instructions.

When we talk temp., do we look at the Intake Air Temp?

Mine is running around 117-120 at idle after this install, but if it sits idling...say for 15-45 min, it has got as high as the high 130's.

This is in 90 degree weather.

While running the temp goes down to the mid-upper 90's in this weather.
I'm getting the IAT reading from my Aeroforce Interceptor gauge with a boost and AF ratio reading kit.
No other additions to the wiring so other than that it reads the normal parameters this gauge offers, which is quite a bit.

If I'm looking at the wrong temp parameter please tell me.

Is this the proper temperature reading to be looking at?
Are my numbers good for AFTER the install?
Other Mods are 2.6 pulley, idler and tune.

Thanks so much!

If you've got an 07-09 (maybe 10?) you want IAT2 which is the temp after the blower.
I've got an AeroForce on an 08 so I know it's there. Ford took it away on the newer ones.

That gauge should show 'IAT2' if you are monitoring the correct parameter. I'm looking at it on my gauge right now.

Ok I'll c if I can set it up.
What temps should I be around while driving and then at idle?
Again this is after the AFCO heat exchanger and 170* Thermo install.
Temps outside are 88-96.

Thanks!

110-125 is pretty average. Altitude, ambient, etc all factors. Didn't you say you had your car idling for like 40 minutes? What are you doing.... running radar in the median of a local interstate?

Lol had an odd sound I was having a buddy check and wanted the engine to stay warm.
Took him a while to get there and he didn't have much time so I wanted it ready.

Is this temp reading ure talking about for IAT or IAT2?

Thanks!

Sounds to me like you're definitely reading IAT2's. I know we're going through a bit of global warming but incoming air in the high 130's would mean the earth is getting just a little bit too close to the sun!

Does the C&R unit cool better than these #s?
