Welcome, British brother! Where in England are you located? I have roots and some distant relatives in Worchester. I bet the L looks like a giant among those little cars everyone drives over there!.....a very cool giant that is.

Hello mates
thanks to everyone for the welcome
in reply to ITHAULS I live in the county of Devon down in south west england near the coast ,thats about 180 miles from your relatives and yes as you said my truck stands tall amongst the go-carts driven over here although I have seen a couple of dodge rams on my travels, talking of other vehicles on the road there is a proffusin of "hot hatches" renault cleos ,escorts etc that make for great kills as they have no idea what a lightning is and always think they have a chance ,and you should see thier faces when they get left for dead by a truck ,the only problem is they are so small you have to kill alot to satisfy your hunger!
All the Best and stay lucky

Cool. Sounds like fun! Get yourself a nasty sounding cat-back exhaust. That oughta get some attention over there.

no, just your regular petrolhead hooligan my truck, fast bikes and dirt bikes
a cat-back would be cool but you have to be very careful over here as the police are all over motorists I got a letter last week from them saying my vehicle had been seen on the A38 and that they thought my side windows were to dark, they want me to go to the local D.V.L.A. office so they can light test me so any mods have to be subtle,
one last thing if anyone post on my threads and does'nt get a reply straight back please dont think im not keeping on top of my posts its just I mostly post late evening and when you guys reply i'm snoring in my pit ,but I always check in before work and if I get a chance on the computer at work
stay lucky

Welcome to the forum brit-lightning. Glad to see another fellow member from Blighty join

With that 13mpg or less, I hope you have a good job mate :) Funnily enough, I have seen a sharp increase in the number of true yank vehicles on the roads here, particularly F150s and Silverados. I did get excited when they started selling Chevys over here, but instead of true Chevys like Vettes, Camros, Silverados, they just appear to be Daewoo s**te with a Chevy badge.

May I ask, how much did you buy it for and who did you get it from?
