Well sadly last saturday my family put my grandfather to rest and I've been thinking a lot about the good times I've had with him over the last 2 decades. I was very fortunate to have known him because some people don't get that kind of joy. I just wanted to take a few minutes and share with you guys a man that helped raise me and hopefully get you guys thinking. I didn't spend much time with him before he passed and that's something I truly regret and would give anything to change.

He worked extremely hard all throughout his life retiring on his 80th birthday and still worked in the yard til he was 85!

the last summer he worked in his yard

he built his own house with the company he and his son started

and he knew how to have a good time

Damn, I'm sorry about your loss. I just lost my last grandparent this year. My grandmother died March 24, 2009. That mother****in cancer took another life. I hate cancer. I wish cancer was person so I could beat the shit out of it.

Sorry about the rambling....

Very sad to hear your grandfather passed. He looked to have really enjoyed life. I'm sure your family greatly misses him.
