The reason they are like that is because you painted the INSIDE of the lense, dude.

Remove the spray on the inside, ans spray the OUTSIDE of the lense.
You will no longer have your problem.

i got 4 layers of nightshades and 4 layers of clear on my tail lights and can still c the red lense form and angle and there easly seen during the day. urs must b BLACK


sort of. i dont have mine tinted, but from what i have heard from friends that have gotten theirs tinted, there are 2 ways to tell if the tint job was low quality.

1. the rear tail lights will appear to have a slightly brown color when the lights come on.

or

2. the light will hardly shine through the tint.

it appears that the OP is dealing with number 2. hmmm, have you considered getting them re-done? might be expensive to do it tho.

Ive seen some completely BLACKED out lights, that still shine red in the day when you apply the brake, and are bright red at night as well.

Or just buy another pair of stockers, and just use the tail light film. It's removable too if you decide you dont like it.
