Switched the cup holders and...

Is it just my L or do other 04 L owners not have the cup holder harness for the light that should go there?

I picked up an 01 cup holder and it came with the harness/ bulb. I tried looking in my truck for the hook up but could not find it. let me know if I have to look for it somewhere else or do we just not have it?

i also have an 03 but i do believe mine has a light in the pull out cupholder

My '03 had neither the harness for the cupholder nor the glovebox light. I swapped dash harnesses with an earlier model, and now have them both.

If you didn't want to go through all of that, I'm sure you could just splice the wires into your harness.

That's odd, my 99 has the cubby under the shifter, cup holder, ash tray and glove box lights.

Those were deleted for 03. As mentioned above, they were removed from the harness but would be easy to splice in.
