SVTPerformance.com 2010 Review
A lot of big things happened on SVTP in 2010. First and foremost, SVTPerformance turned 10 years old on November 25th 2010. This is a milestone for any website and something that we here at SVTP are very proud to be a part of. Also, on November 11th 2010 we hit 10,000,000 posts. This makes SVTP one of the largest automotive related forums on the web, and we’ll continue working to make sure we’re here for another 10,000,000 posts and then some.
We also added a couple new forums to help those who are embarking on more extensive and complicated modifying adventures with their Ford powered vehicles. We now have dedicated forums to discuss and aid you in performing your own custom tuning and doing an E85 conversion to your car. The knowledge that is being shared and stored in these forums will be helping modders for many years to come. In keeping with the restaurant themed names of all the forums in SVTPerformance's Chain of Restaurants the two new forums are named Tuning À la carte and The Distillery respectively. Continuing, we’re also happy to announce that we have now added Tapatalk to SVTP for those accessing the site with their mobile device. Tapatalk provides a simplified interface that aids in page load and functionality when surfing the site with a mobile device. We have also added a new feature for the SVTP Premium Members. Premium Members now have access to a section of the site we call “Dead Forums.” This section is a collection of older forums that have been part of SVTP at one time or another, but have for one reason or another lost their relevancy. This section contains over 44,000 threads and 230,000 posts. Finally, we’d also like to thank Jimmy, Jimmysidecarr, for stepping up to moderate the Terminator forum. He’s really been pushing to make the forums more organized and user friendly and it really shows.
