Place them along the baseboards in bathrooms and other high traffic areas:
I would also keep a can of Raid Spider Blaster handy in every room.
It shoots a long narrow stream so you can snipe the bastards from a distance:
So many helpless spiders... So many possibilities... I would take it outside, douse it in gasoline and drop a match on it.
