i emailed him and asked him like 5 questions about it and all he said was this,
"if you want to buy it now the price that i want to sell it now is 1250 usd including the shipping cost."

"If you are interested to buy it let me know ASAP,"

Thank you, Chris
Same thing that everyone else has gotten. The price seems to be a bit different that he gives people though. He told me $1650 USD. I bet this ass wasn't expecting the whole SVTP Mafia to jump on him!!! :bash:

Good catch. The first auction for this scam was 7941731763. You can also check all of his auctions by his user name.

Here is ebays response to my fraud alert:

Hello,

Thank you for contacting SafeHarbor with your report.

eBay doesn't actually handle the merchandise that is offered for
auction. Without firsthand knowledge of the item, we are unable to
guarantee the accuracy of the listing information. We encourage members
who are interested in bidding on an item to email the seller for
additional information. Be sure to ask the seller specific questions
regarding age, authenticity and condition of the item before bidding. In
the unlikely event that the seller doesn't respond, you may want to
reconsider your bidding decision.

Part of this information is contained in our User Agreement, under
article 3. I have included a portion of that Article below for your
review:

auction web site, it is important to realize that we are not a
traditional "auctioneer". Instead, our site acts as a venue to allow
anyone to offer, sell, and buy just about anything, at anytime, from
anywhere, in a variety of formats, including a fixed price format and an
auction-style format commonly referred to as an "online auction". We are
not involved in the actual transaction between buyers and sellers. As a
result, we have no control over the quality, safety or legality of the
items advertised, the truth or accuracy of the listings, the ability of
sellers to sell items or the ability of buyers to buy items. We cannot
ensure that a buyer or seller will actually complete a transaction."

In other words, your SOL if you get ripped off. Now this pisses me off. I give them good info on a fraud and they let the auction run! :fm:

In this world, that POS seller would sue us and win. We'd end up owning him money!

Someone could post the same auction up and have the same product with a DO NOT BUY THIS! It will show up in the same eBay area. That should stop it quickly.

When you guys wrote ebay, did you write them and tell them to check out the original auction????????????

Rick

Ebay told me that it is common for legitimate sellers to borrow pictures and descriptions from other auctions that did really well, or because they are too lazy/stupid to generate a legitimate description and pictures on their own.

Of course I summed this up. In ebay-eze it was about ten paragraphs long and politically correct.
