Jim, I'm working on a story and could use your help getting some response to
a couple of questions that will make up much of this article. Could you post
these for me and if possible, ask the respondents to include their name,
city and state and what car they have if they have one?

Thank you very much,
Steve

* With the 2003-04 Cobras being King of the street, where do they stand now
and how will the Shelby GT500 affect their reputation and value?

* Have Terminator owners felt the need to trade up to an S-197 Mustang
and/or Shelby GT500?

* What impact, if any, has the S197 Mustang made an impact pre-Shelby?

* How do Terminators compare stock on street/strip/open track to earlier
Mustangs and how do you think they'll stack up against the Shelby?

* What is the Terminator's maximum potential, while maintaining
streetability?

* Solid axle vs. IRS. What are the pros and cons of each and

BTW ... for the Comcast customers, the MM&FF article with the last of the 2004 line up (GT vs Mach 1 vs Cobra) is available through On Demand

Sports & Fitness --> Driverseat --> Hot Rod --> Mustang Shootout
(14 min)

While the meat of the original article are missing (no specs) the reason to watch (other than the car footage) is the interviews between Coletti and Thai-Tang.

With due and sincere respect to both executives, watching that made me go hug my 04. Thai-Tang is a Mustang fan no doubt, but Mr. C speaks to me ... "what the customers want" and didn't admit to be #2 to the vette (even if it's true)

MM&FF ... it should have been longer :poke:

From Steve Baur,

Subject: Some Great Responses

Thanks very much. I've received about 10 emails and haven't even looked at
the posts yet. I'm going to be busy for a while.
