you should have seen the kr get air going about 70 mph after he passed me going about 130 and some dumb a$$ pulled out in front of dave. He had smoke rolling out of all 4 wheels, before he put the car into a curb. No scratches or curb rash. He got so lucky.

I loved your car. I've been talking to the wife about building/buying a turbo car. Then we seen yours and she really liked it too, so now the idea sounds even better to her.
I heard you put on quite the smoke show at the strip. I was getting your complements even though my car don't look anything like yours.:shrug:
I don't think those judges like silver cars. The same cobras thats won this year, won last year. Our class wasn't defined very well this year

NO problem, it looks wicked and I bet is a blast to drive with 1000 hp:rockon:

I dont know much about the KB twin turbo cobra but it sounded good but didnt care for the r spoiler and flame paint, just not my style. I heard it was only making 680 hp or something but I dont know. Heres the only other pic I got of it sorry was kinda of hurrying to see all the stangs:rockon:

I agree.. I asked the one gal when they were getting us lined up if I should be in the custom modified class and she told me I had to do the stock class. Then I found out today a guy I know with a near stock V6 was put in the modified class. Something they need to work on I guess. I wasn't sure if I was going to be allowed to run at the drag strip since they didn't really advertise for a class for us with slicks. Fortunately we found enough guys to run a "Pro Class". I had my hands full with the minimal track prep and the temp hovering around 45deg.. Was a good time though.

hell yes its a long drive. I did it this year in the cobra but next year its on a trailer. I am looking for a featherlite open trailer. It would be cool if we could get a few cars to roll up together. I thought Ben was rolling up but he cancelled last minute. So if you guys are serious you have a year to plan for it.

I will be going next year for sure but Like you I will have it on a trailer. I was just up in rapid city 4 weeks ago so didn't want to turn around a month later and make that trip. By the look of the pics I should have done it anyway.

I hope to get a few others from Central Iowa to join me.
