Stupid white letters?

OK so the PO put large white letters on the tires which look pretty silly to me. Haven't crawled under it yet, but does anybody know if I can have the tires dismounted and swapped so the back side (now) would be facing out?
Tries peeling the letters off but it's definitely a no go!

Heat them up and pull them off, no big deal.

For clarification, use a heat gun and not a blow torch.....

Tires are directional, cannot be turned around like the old days.

heat gun, blow dryer on high, they will eventually come off.

leave the car parked with one side facing the sun for a few hours.

then turn car around the next day and repeat.

Here ya go! If you're not going to re-use the letters, letting the letters get hotter from the heat gun/hairdryer will make them come off easier. I mention that because in the video the guy says to avoid getting them too hot so that you won't hurt them if you plan to re-use them.

$HIT!! I think they must have been vulcanized on or something - heat gun would not touch them. Oh well! We will just look like kids again until new tires come along.

With directional tires, you cannot reverse on the same side (as stated previously). However, you can move it to the opposite side of the car, where the letters would be on the inside to be turning in the correct direction.

Thats what I was thinking! I guess i didnt explain it that way.
Left side tires go to the right and vice versa, still rolling same direction.
