My 04 has basic mods- ported/pullied/intake/exhaust/tune/etc... - almost 160k miles since I bought it in 2007 (it's my daily driver ... even when it's -50* outside). I'm still using the stock clutch and have no signs of wear like slipping,etc...

How long can the stock clutch go for? I was sure I'd need to replace it by now. I keep thinking I"ll replace the car with a 13-14 gt500, but all I've had to replace so far is a rear pinion seal and TOB so I'm kinda curious how long it will go for now.

Clutches dont really have a life expectancy. Running a ton of power through them and abuse (slipping/dumping) are going to wear it out. Apparently youve been doing a good job with yours!

Wow you must never drag race your car on sticky tires! Congrats. Apparently they can keep going for a while because that guy on here who was over 300k was still on his stock clutch right up until last year, iirc.

Holy crap! I'm still at 60k! LMAO, if you can afford it, go with the spec supertwin. Your foot and leg will thank you.

300k highway miles is a lot different from 300k city miles. highway miles, there is minimal clutch wear since it is engaged most of the time.

It may be a lot of highway miles but many hours of sitting traffic..inch by inch.

I also have a shoe box full of track slips..3yrs of twice a week...

It's all how you drive..
