Ok I put a new K-member in with a-arms and bump steer. here is the situation the steering wheel is off 90 degress. I am bottoming out one side on the tie rod and the other side it seems i will run out of rod before the wheel is straight.

Does anyone know if the stock steering shaft comes apart and you can rotate it 90? that would fix my problem. I am 2 hours from the car right now and cannot check it myself. Also i took it to the alignment shop and now there is a hole in the oil pan... that is another story though :cryying:

Who did the K install and who's K is it?

What rack bushings were used?

That big of an adjustment to the inner and outer tie rods to center the wheel, should not have to be made IMHO. Sounds like the K put the rack over to one side by quite a bit.

I put it in. it is a Team Z k-member. I talked to them about it. they relocated the rack 3/8" to the passenger side. I was very careful when putting the tie rod ends on. it is equal on both sides of the rack. if the wheel is straight the tires are 15 degrees or so to the right. Any suggestions?
