Steel 100% the aluminum will flex to much and you have the hp to get the extra weight of the steel going but it also helps keep the motor moving once your up in higher rpms.

Is this a McLeod twin disc? I took it out the car and it doesn't have any writing on it saying McLeod, the only writing say SECO?

Mcleod Lightened steel is what I have

Same here. I've only driven the car about 75 miles with the new flywheel and from what I could tell it feels great and there is no chatter - an issue with some aluminum flywheels.

I asked Lethal Performance for their recommendation and they also suggested a lightened steel flywheel.

I have run a Fidanza aluminum FW since 2005.
It has a LOT of 1/4 mile runs, auto cross and road course events.
The car is also daily driven.
I have not had any problems with it at all.
Power is at 733/682 and I run 9.8s
A new friction plate($50) is all that is required to freshen up the FW for a clutch swap.
My car has had MANY clutches.

Steel or aluminum

Get the lightest flywheel/clutch assy you can find that will hold the power. A heavy rotating assy will only be a drag on the tach needle and reduce engine breaking.

I'll stick with mine then with the RXT. Great insight as usual!
