I love those SRT-8's! A local just went 10.9 with his. He has a built/forged engine (forget the exact size, but its around 400ci), stall, and a 300 shot. Its ****ing nasty.

Well, those jeep SRT-8's can get out of the hole hard. The ET nice but the mph is down. However, this particular jeep has some nuts for sure...

Still, that jeep as it stands is a high 120mph car/suv... not bad but it's gonna need a crap load of power.

Looks like the Z06 hung in there better than that LP560-4. Also, FWIW, those LP560's trap in the high 120 range as well, just putting it out there.

Those SRT8 Jeeps are usually dogs from a roll. To hang with a LP560 from a roll race like that in a 4600lb automatic SUV that thing must be making some pretty serious power.

Exactly! Some folks get so caught up on ET's that they don't see the whole picture.

I had a monster discussion with some dude on youtube about this very thing. (Is it me or are the people on youtube practically have no idea what they're talking about?)

I present the question:

You have two cars, both trap 10.0's but:

car A goes 10.0 @ 120mph with a 1.9 60ft

and

car B goes 10.0 @ 130mph with a 1.9 60ft.

I asked him which car is faster overall. The guy would just keep saying something about they both are the same you (add something witty to get at me)

Of course the 130mph car will obliterate the 120mph but some people, again, fail to see anything besides ET.
