700hp isn't fast on the street? Compared to what? A gt500, Z06? People roll race a lifted truck on 35s or 37s? I have a lifted (4") ram 1500 with the 5.7 on 35x12.5. has a catback and Cai. Sucky 321 rear. it's far from fast. It goes decent for what it is. Good gas mileage and the most comfortable truck I have driven. I was pumped when I heard about the trx. But I don't need 700hp. 550 would be plenty. I don't jump sand dunes or race off-road. Back dirt roads to fishing spots or light mud playing is about it. It's nice to has more power in a daily truck. That's when there are tuners available. Plus stock programming typically sucks and negatively impacts driveability to an extent. It's pretty safe to say that it is very difficult to build a one size fits all truck. That's where options allow the consumer to get what they want.
