spoiler ideas

so the spoiler on my 10th Anni vert is having some clearcoat failure. The clearcoat is peeling off and it's time for me to fix it. I was thinking though, would it be possible to modify the stock spoiler to make it a little more curved like aftermarket bmws? has anyone ever done something like this? I dont want something too crazy like the s281 wing but more like the aftermarket BMW wings...if anyone knows what I'm even talking about lol. Since I'll be re painting it anyways I figure might as well tweak it a little.

well if you don't like the oE, you could give it to me !!! and get an 01-04 gt scoop?... has the lip on the rear lopoking like bmw's just alittle bigger

if you mold it into the trunk but keep the back line it will look more curved, look up pics from those that have done this, turned out pretty good overall

that's what I was thinking. I remember reading about someone doing it but I searched and couldn't find the thread.

oh yeah one peice looks awesome, only problem with fiberglass/bodyfiller it might crack and stuff over time/pott holes/twisting.. looks great though!

yes that looks amazing. subtle yet aggressive. I don't know much about body work, but wouldn't just putting a few layers of fiberglass on and shaping it be much easier than molding it into the trunk?
