Just curious as to why I’d have sparks coming from the bell housing when I launched at the drag strip on ET slicks. I didn’t notice this until a friend showed me a video of my car launching a few days ago. I think it only did it one time. I left on the 2step at 3500 or 4100 on that pass. It’s a 650 hp car with a spec stage 3 or 3 plus. I can’t remember right off. I figured it was just clutch grabbing hard since it feels fine and no noises at all. Any ideas or should I be worried?

Are they coming from under the car? Or are you seeing them from under the hood?

Roy is on the case. It's from your clutch engaging. Happens a lot if you watch drag race videos in slow motion when guys leave the line.

Should be a semi-metallic carbon disc. Thats when we noticed it... on a slow-motion playback. I’ve watched other cars do it before at the track but just wanted to confirm that I didn’t have an issue. Thanks!!!!
