I sprayed 100 on the stock plugs, when I switched to NGK 6510's they were .038 out of the box and I sprayed 100, 125, and 150 with that gap no prob.

I have NGK 6510's spraying 150 shot, I started at .035 and had a lot of spark blow out, then I gapped down to .032 and still had blow out then gapped to .030 and still blowing spark out and now at .027 and still have a very little amount of blow out in 4th gear only. Now I'm losing interest in the entire set up and haven't touched the car since last weekend.

6510s come gapped pretty big at .040 or maybe even .045. I don't remember. I don't personally think it's a great idea to close the gap so much. I try and go no more than 20% or so of how they came from the manufacturer. Otherwise your lose the original geometry of the strap and electrode itself. Your strap will look like an upside down J instead of an L which would have an adverse effect on the plugs ability to fire a proper spark.

I run the absolute largest gap I can without impacting the spark plugs ability to light the fuel mixture.

Just my $.02 of course.
