The final scene is reality, nothing wrong with putting it on the show. I certainly don't get a "guns are bad" message out of it either, but rather that even if fully automatic weapons should be legal (as I believe they should), it doesn't necessarily follow that it's morally acceptable to sell them to just anyone (I don't believe that it is). In any case, I don't see Kurt Sutter or F/X sending out a Brady Bunch message via this show; that would be commercial suicide.

I def don't think it was a bad move for the show and those who create it. But my first reaction was WHOA! As I really think that will catch some crap from a lot of people for it.

It is def going to tie into the show and wasn't there for just any reason. They even said in the next episode previews that it will cause a public magnifying glass on the club. What I don't get is how the hell are they going to link that weapon to the club?

For those of you who know what I'm talking about.... many will believe they went too far tonight

theres been a huge uproar on facebook about it, but Sutter isnt like that, he is bringing awareness to the issue by putting it in an episode. people need to get over it, its a ****ing tv show. this politically correct crap can take a hike. all this hyper sensitivity to everything is overblown drama. if people dont like it, turn the tv off or change the channel and dont watch anymore.

I'm pretty sure the gun the kid used was one of the guns Jax's crew sold to Nero's guys last season.

This.

The kid who shot up the school was the son of Nero's guy (played by Dave Navarro). Where do you think they (Nero's crew) got the guns from? The Sons.

Think this is going to put Nero against the club and drive Jax to want to get out of the gun business, because, you know, pr0n/prostitution is much more honorable way of making money.

at the beginning of the episode (cant recall if it was in the recap) they showed jax giving nero's crew a bag full of guns. the one the kid used is specifically the same one that one of the guys pulled out of the bag to look at. i dont think navarro is the kids dad. he's just banging his mom. kid finds gun and uses it to "get even". in his notebook with crazy scribblings/drawings it mentioned something about bullies.

i think it may bring the ATF back to charming and reopen the RICO case. with the marshall putting pressure on tara and clay to cooperate. as we can see clay already is. seems like tara may turn on jax, possibly even be killed in jail.

im sure the persian thing is going to come back to haunt the club since Tig killed one of the brothers. it would have been better imo if he tossed him in the cage and in the water while still alive. and what was that yellow stuff? piss? some times its so damn hard to hear what the scottsman is saying. need subtitles lol

I just hope they don't let Clay live another damn season... He needs to die slowly and painfully this season..

Anal prison rape, torture porn, pissing on people, school shootings, quite an eventful first episode!

I just read an interview where they said the next two episodes slow down drastically. :whine:

Keep the action and high intensity rolling!
