I'm not selling anything so please don't think this is advertising this is my project thread and I have not brought anything to market and questions and or input please post! I'd love to hear about what you're looking for in a top quality carnauba wax --- also a huge update coming later today

Thats really cool. If I had some more free time I'd definitely like to try and make my own waxes. Looks like a lot of trial and error but seems fun. Keep up the good work! I'll be checking out this thread for future updates.

Update 17

Although coverage has slowed down, I've been pouring all of my spare time into this, I've had a few samples spread out and JSou has been offering immense input, I've gotten feedback from 10+ over the last week and am reentering the Waxatory soon with some new alterations

I am proud to announce this wax works in direct sunlight on steaming panels

I have some plans for a larger scale of sample send out as well, so stay tuned for that

Believe this or not but it's advanced so far I've created two recipes in my sleep! lol

I've had plans for a hard wax, however based on a lot of recent feedback I'll be trying some alterations of ProtoWax 38 which was my first successful soft paste wax

Enough talk, check out some recent results! All vehicles are sporting Son1c Wax ProtoWax --
Sonic Blue Mustang ProtoWax 43
Black Mustang ProtoWax 43
Elantra ProtoWax 36 37 38
Eclipse ProtoWax 36 37 38
Burgundy ProtoWax 36 37 38
The differences between 36-38 are essentially variations of the wax consistency as opposed to performance, Users applied all three to give me feedback on each of them vs the others on texture, smell, color, application, buff off, etc

Son1c Wax ProtoWax 38 Rainfall Beading and Sheeting - YouTube

Durability update on ProtoWax 31 -> Almost a month later it's still going strong -> you'll notice a huge drop off in the distance of the photo -> that is the tape line for the 50/50 of the wax

User submitted photo of Son1c Wax ProtoWax 38 beading, we are also testing it's performance on glass as a Rain-X type product -> this is not a main goal but why not use the product for all that it's worth!

Awesome work. This is very cool. Please PM me info on how I can become a customer or tester. I'm looking for a change from my good old Meg's #16...

thank you sir
the testing situation is difficult as I have a 100+ list and I don't want to charge for samples but the expense to get all of those out would be immense so I'm trying to get samples out when I can and local testing, I have been holding a couple giveaways because I've always been a big advocate of that which is another opportunity to win a sample of son1c wax

Update 18

Due to recent feedback I went back and revitalized an older brew, and attempted to improve upon that strand as well, well I'll let the pictures speak for themselves and will update on durability as it proceeds..

I was ecstatic with these results, applied on steaming hot panels in direct sunlight, let cure for ~ 5 minutes ~80-90 degrees kind of humid, depth enhanced, flakes are popping almost out of the paint, reflective, yet still maintaining a warm glow -> I've been aiming to create a high quality carnauba that performs very well in every category as opposed to just a few, tight uniform beads, sheets very well, will be pouring some more to sample out
