Somebody stole my drive shaft

:fm: Drove my 84 k10 to work today as it is raining, and when I went to leave, I noticed a puddle of transmission fluid underneath it. Looked under my truck to see where it was coming from, and my drive shaft is gone. Straight missing. No longer in the truck, not in the bed, u-joint caps and straps missing too. :cuss: I hate thieving scumbags. Who the **** steals a rear drive shaft out of a truck, in the middle of the day, in the middle of town at a busy intersection in a business park?

Checked craigslist in your area for anything suspicious but didn't see anything. Also looked around and found brand new 84 k10 driveshafts for like $300 so if I had to guess it was either ... they had a similar truck or knew someone that needed one... or maybe scrap? but seems way to random for scrap so I'd guess #1 :shrug:
