Looks great man! Quick question, they stopped (M&H) producing that rear tire size right? Now it's like a 325/40/18 or 345/40/18??!? I think the only other good drag radials with a decent side wall for an 18 inch wheel is Mickey Thompson, they have 345-35-18 I believe

yeah they did. I am just going to go with the Mickey Thompson's when these go bald. This is my first time using M&H tires and am I am going to go back to MT's the next round for sure.

Would the new M&H's with a 40 sidewall for 18s even fit the rear of the z06? I think they're 28 inch tall tires.

Also, is there a large difference in traction and hooking with the 345/35/18s compared to the nitto nt05Rs 345/30/19s?? Did you ever run those or have 19s in the rear?

Yeah I actually went from the nitto nt05Rs 345/30/19 to the M&H and there is a huge difference. The M&H can actually hook first gear which I never felt when I had the nittos on. I do not plan on going with a 40 sidewall since I already had to remove the rear brake ducts in order to fit the 345/35/18

That's awesome to hear! Nothing better than first hand experience with both sets of tires. Still curious to why M&H discontinued those tires, I'm curious to see how the 345/35 Mickey thompsons will compare to your M&Hs when you make the switch.

Very nice car btw, and awesome wheels. I like the idea of 18s all the way around like you have because there won't be a need for a bigs and little 18in setup. Nicely done. Would love to see and hear it in person, I work on Capitol Hill if you are ever near the area
