I came across these pictures when I was online the other day and figured I'd post some of them up. It's a disassembled R35 GTR, and it really shows you how neat all of the brakes and suspension are stock on this car. Pretty neat, so hopefully you enjoy them. I'm not exactly why he took the car apart, whether he's planning on doing a bunch of stuff to it or just to learn more about the car, but I thought since most people don't know much about them other than what they read in article that this was something different and it shows you why they weigh so much with all of the stuff on them...

Even more interesting is that he has several GTRs that are taken apart, engine and trans completely removed, etc. so I'm guessing it's some shop who's planning on building them up? Interesting either way.

I agree, and that's why I'm guessing he owns a shop and he's trying to figure everything out about the car.

they are probably one of the few places authorized to repair a transmission with gears that are made of glass.

I'm think it's $2k from the front to the back, full exhaust. Not cheap.

Just for comparison, if you were to buy a nice exhaust for a Cobra how much would it cost front to back? Say I wanted all Borla from the X-pipe back to the tailpipes?
