Damn I can't believe that thing isn't an easy 200mph car... So close!

I'd be pissed that I missed 200 by 1.8mph

Unfortunately Mojave does not allow a burnout prior to the run like the Texas mile does :cuss: if i had a stickier set of tires i think i could have made it :nonono: the Bridgestone Potenza's couldn't hang with my right foot :burnout:

next time i will shoe the GT with a set of Hoosier R6's

with a mere 766 rwhp it is not as easy as you would think. Plus Mojave resides at 2800 feet above sea level. i think i can make it into the 200 mph club for the mile at the Texas mile as that track is like a mere 500 feet above sea level

to put things into perspective.... a 2012 Bugatti Veyron only went 201.7 mph in the mile last year at Mojave :read:

Very impressive for the numbers. I've gotten the Cobra to 160 but could never imagine 198

That is amazing. That you got right at 200mph with only 766hp really illustrates the GT's aerodynamics.

Love the car man, but personally i think they look much better with a bumper delete. Really nice mph.
