i got a Bendpak 4 post lift. the model is a HD-9XW :coolman:

it will lift all 4 of my race cars including my Ford GT and all 3 of my trucks including my Ford F-250 Superduty :-D in fact it is rated to lift 9,000 lbs up to 82 inches high

i bought it from Summit Racing and it cost me $3,010 with shipping

here is a link to some info on it on Bendpaks website > BendPak HD-9XW Four Post Car Stacker Parking Lift, 9,000 Lb. Capacity, Standard Width, High Lift

^^^^ - my ceiling is 12 feet high and you need all of it to assemble the lift and raise it to it's max height with any car on it.

Congrats man, that is a great lift. I finished my garage a couple of months ago and one requirement was for 12' ceiling height. I've also decided on a Bendpak, very likely the same model as yours. I'm glad you posted because I never even considered Summit as a source to buy from. Did you assemble the lift yourself, if you're mechanically inclined, is it a doable project for one man? Did you get any accessories with it like the scissor jack or wheels to roll it around?
Nice space by the way!

^^^^ - there is a guy here in Tucson that just assembles, installs and adjusts lifts. the lift weighs 2,000 lbs. i paid him $500 to pick the lift up for me at the shipping terminal. he assembled part of the lift in his shop and then he towed the lift to my place and installed it with his fork lift and adjusted it for me. a fork lift is needed to assemble a 4 post lift because the platform has to installed over and above the 4 posts....

i will be buying wheels casters and a rolling jack for it next.

I have the older and lighter 110v BendPak lift. It is only good for up to 7k and i don't even have it in my garage (wouldn't fit).
I keep it outside in the driveway and it's been out there for about six years.
With a waterproof bag over the pump assembly and a good spray once in a while on the sheaves and wire rope it has been trouble free.

Do you have the latest model with the air cylinder lock releases? My older one has the lever that must be held down while lowering.

If I am ever able to move into, or buy a bigger garage I will be adding their two post asymmetrical lift to my stock. With both types I could have a car on one with the engine out and still be able to get under another car.

yes mine is the newer model. it was built on 2-20-14 and it has the air cylinder lock releases and runs off of a single phase 220v outlet. i have seven 220v outlets in my shop.
