Full squat you may have some rubbing issues, but width wise you should be fine. Im running hoosier 28/10.5-15s and they fit perfect. extra 1.5" diameter should be ok.

That's a tall tire, no doubt. What kind of gearing are you running? Any specific reason on this particular size?

Thats a suspension issue not the tire. People routinely cut 20's on Pros. I've ran a 29" before. It's a lot of tire. Ok if you really want a ton of sidewall and have enough gear.

Yes, I realize I need suspension but I have a set of the slicks I wanted to try till I update the suspension

That's a lot of tire, how much power?
At stock height, I can run a 30" radial, and a 29" slick will grow close to 30" at stripe.
28x9 MT Pro Bracket Radial could work, but I'd stay bias ply.
