Either one is a beautiful car. I would like to add a black/white stripes gt500 to my stable. Can't go wrong either way.

you came into a terminator forum to ask this question? of course the main response you are going to get is go with the terminator.
me personally...if i wanted a gt500 i would have got one. the terminator looks ten times better, and can be just as fast, if not much faster, with just a little money put in to her.

get a cobra with around 20,000 miles for 22-25g's. take 5-10g's and make it a beast. a stock gt500 or a modified cobra with more potential. the cobra's are amazing cars and have so much untapped horsepower waiting to be found. with the gt500 you have to remember that alot of what you pay for is the shelby name.
I would get the Terminator, hands down. i'm glad i bought mine and love it. After it's paid for, i might get a used GT500 so i can have both. i'm sure the Terminator will be my favorite though. If i don't, then i'll get another Terminator so i can have two.
GT500 is the better car.

the only gt500 i'd consider is the newest one (2011 i believe). the previous years are far too retro for my tastes. i also do not prefer the size of the gt500s....take a look at a gt500 side by side with an 03/04 termi car. The gt500s are gigantic in comparison. I like the smaller look
I have to agree with C6Zhombre, I'd only get the newest version of the GT500, the 2010 and newer. The 07-09's had some clutch/flywheel issues from what I have read. Anyway you can't go wrong with a 03/04 Cobra...
Sounds like he isn't into MODING, drive and have fun (nut'n wrong w/that!) If you buy a Terminator remember....YES, you can have problems. ask me, my motor was built early, 8-27-02 < car build date.

The 03/04 Cobras are 6-7 years old cars and its hard to pass on a newer Shelby. I drove the new shelby and their pretty fun cars.
You are right it is annoying.
If it was a 2010/2011 gt500 I would say get that, but an 08 gt500?...get the terminator
