that thing just goes bonkers at 4k! Pulls like an animal!

Gapped the plugs down to .025. Only got a few 3rd gear pulls in the cool 50 degree weather last night before dinner but it felt a lot better up top.

I think my alt is wired in wrong. My handheld says the control pack has 14-14.5 volts when running and hitting the gas doesn't seem to make it climb. Is it normal for the voltage to fluctuate at idle roughly .5 volt or less total indifference?
