Okay ladies+gents, Its 2011 you have 45k or can afford a $850 monthly payment and you cant decide on what your new car will be the: Taurus SHO or the F-150 SVT Raptor. Pick one, whats your reasoning? Ready. Set. Go.

IF I had to choose between the two mentioned I would definitely get the SHO. I'm a fan of fast sedans and I have always loved the SHOs of the past. Plus, WTF would I do with a Raptor in the south east?

I chose the raptor for the simple reason that trucks can help you make money, but I would love to have a sho.

Where is the neither option.

If i had 45 grand in 2011 id just buy a Fusion sport and TT it.

F ford and this shitty SHO.

+1 to this. Also, it gets pretty decent gas mileage which is a plus. It's fast, good gas mileage, and it can be a great road trip/DD vehicle.

That would be so lame, lol. You could never build a better package then what you get from the factory.:bash:

My pick would be a Raptor cause there's just so much more I could do with it.

45K? 2010 GT500

but I'll probably get the Raptor because a truck is more useful.

hard choice though

I don't do trucks, but if I needed one the Raptor would win. Had an original SHO...and this one is going to be major sick...so that's where my money would go. Unless, I can get the new GT500 with an aluminum block by then for the same coin. (If I had said coin...that is.)

I respect what the SHO has to offer but a Taurus doesn't have any appeal for me. Being able to go off roading with the Raptor would kick ass:dancenana:

2011 Ford is going to have a sick line of cars! New GT500, 5.0 Mustang GT, SHO, Raptor. Expand your horizons and test drive/ride in as many as you can. I know that's what I'm going to do. I'm leaning twoards the Raptor never owned a truck, and the 6.2 Raptor sounds nice! Even if you never take it off road I guarantee you have the smoothest riding factory truck on road!

Taurus SHO all the way! But to be honest I would let someone else take the depreciation hit and pick up a preowned car.

I think the poster is implying right now, not in 2021 when you could buy one.

SHO all the way, only because it would better on a daily basis. I would love the Raptor though if they offer it in some better color schemes.
