I am in the process of removing my hurst shifter, I am tired of missing third gear. I am putting my stock shifter back on. I am trying to figure out if I am missing the plastic cup bushing because I cannot get anything out of the hole. I don't know if its stuck or if I have lost it. Is it usually hard to get out to inspect? Any help would be appreciated.

The plastic cup is a blueish color I think and it should be fit over the ball on the shifter. If it isn't on the ball it it might have dropped into the resevoir somewhere. It's not on the aftermarket shifter you pulled?
