Hello everyone. I'm slowly upgrading parts on my garage queen a 2010 Shelby GT500 that only sees a few hundred to a thousand miles a year. I'm currently putting new tires on her right now as well as a windshield wiper fluid reservoir that was leaking and a TPMS that failed. Then she goes to sleep for the winter in November.
Next up in the spring I need new brakes
, rotors and shocks. I've been out of there daily driving game for several years and parts have been discontinued like the Duramax gold ceramic pads that I used and there are many different options now and I'm curious what's everyone's running and happy with. I'm open to all suggestions. I've read a lot about Power stop and the Z26 kit looks like a great performance package. I'd like to keep wheel dust to a minimum if possible .
As far as shocks go I don't road race or AutoX it's a weekend cruiser but I will get on it every once in awhile. I'm sure there are some better options than stock shocks and again I'm open to all suggestions.
As far as lowering, I remember hearing back in the day that lowering wasn't the best idea on Shelbys from 2010 is that a myth? I'm not a huge fan of the raked look I'd love to level the front and back but that's probably last on my list. Talk to me people! Thanks in advance!
