Look at it from a reasonable perspective:

1. They don't have a 427 DOHC V8 and nothing currently that could get them to that. Do really think they are gonna develop an entirely new engine, durability and emissions test/register for ~1000 unit a year car?

Saleen uses a pushrod windsor based 427, not a 4v. Anyone and/or their mom could build the motor in the Saleen S7, they've been around for 30 years+.

ls7 seems to be working out pretty well for chevy. Why not?

I was only stating that Saleen doesn't have a 7.0L 4v, not that a windsor 427 can't be a strong motor. Personally, I prefer 4Vs mainly because you don't need ragged edge components, which kill low/midrange, to make optimal power at the top of the tach.
