With the new gts and Shelbys out 600rw doesn't seem like crazy amount of power anymore. These cars are doing it much more efficiently and with much less boost. So I was happy with my result for stock heads and pump gas!

Forged lower end, stock compression, STOCK HEADS, comp 270's, Logan intake manifold.

Sick ride bro! lol I was having that discussion with a buddy while back...I remember when a 400HP LS1 street car was considerd a BEAST. Now most cars can piss 400hp lol

i know and it kills me! back 5-6 years ago when i procharged my GT 400rwhp was pretty stout...lol now its sooo slow

And OP...2V POWER!!! Pretty sick numbers!

Very nice man....the difference with the newer cars is weight too. Easy to make power but man do you need it when you are lugging around 4K pounds!

Man, I remember when the '03/'04 Cobras first came out...and a Terminator with a KB pushing lots of boost making 600 at the tire was the end of the world! How far we've come in such a short time.

Yeah, 10 years ago if you were putting down 400-450rwhp you were in the upper crust around town. But man, with the gut of blowers and turbos on today's motors it seems like there are so many rides making 600rwhp+. And then you have the GT-500s, Z06s, ZR1s, etc. making huge power right from the factory. Doesn't look like we've hit the ceiling yet. Glory days for those who are power hungry!

Seems low to only gain 10hp per lb of boost.

It was making about 20hp per pound. Reached the limit of the heads/cams and the fact that its only pulled to 5800. Started nosing off after that. It should shine with some trickflow heads and turbo cams

Yes lol. I also remember watching videos on strictlys site. Kb cobras makin 600 and that was the shit. We were all like oh my god stock motor 600! Shit, even when ported Eatons came out and making 500 rwhp we all thought it was insane. Now it's like ehh whatever.

Bob remember the threads about which upper pulley was best lol. Even got into arguments about it haha. Man when I made 460 rwhp I was out that night racing everyone in town lol
