Has anyone used any SHM parts on their Cobra? Any intake manifolds, cams, heads, or even stoker kits? Has anybody installed their 5.0 stoker kit?

I ask because I am trying to build up my engine without using forced induction or nitrous. Let me know if anybody has used SHM and gotten any serious horse power gains and still been able to drive in everyday traffic.

You could not pay me enough money to use anything from SHM.
There are dozens of American firms with a better reputation.

I don't think there is anything wrong with SHM. They are pretty well know in the Mustang world!!!
I also think there might be some biest opinions in here being he is from Canada. Have had and heard nothing but good things from them and would use them again in a second.
Everyone has there own shop they use and us up here in Canada don't have that many so we have to travel a long ways to get anyone good. SHM is good.
Just my 2 cents

How about the parts they make? I got a set of new SHM billet oil pump gears off of eBay. They seemed like a good deal so I jumped on them. I did a little research and it sounded like the SHM versions were quality parts. Can anyone shed some light on this?

their original oil pump gears are good parts.

I would never purchase anything from them however.

Check out Al P. in Florida (Boss 330 racing) for a NA build,
Our own Nazman for a ported intake
MMR for short / longblocks parts

Check out the chat about SHM recently. Seems like he deals more with imports now, and he has some VERY expensive parts

Naz has made great power on a NA motor, others here have had good NA combos, keep looking

i picked up a set of their original billet oil pump gears about 6 years ago. Took forever to ship but they are good pieces.

As for now, I wouldn't touch them.
