2011 Mustang GT:

SCT is closed and i had to fill out an emergency contact form. Said they would contact me within 24hrs and it has been over 26 hrs since I contacted them. I'm very disappointed at this point.

If anyone has any info, im more than willing to listen.

Sct itsx tuner, was on my 93 tune and wanted to load 91 tune, it connected, let me choose my tune, started the download, then said programming unsuccessful...message timeout.

Now i cant do anything. When i turn the key on, it acts like its in the middle of a download. Cant load any tunes or even read codes.

Tried disconnecting battery and tried using another device for downloads.

Had it already saved your stock tune, then failed when trying to upload the custom?

If so, unplug.. Unhook battery for 15 min or more... Hook it back up, then connect again and try to return to stock.

I have no idea if this is anything useful but my first thought was to disconnect the battery and wait and then try again.

Not happy with the lack of customer service right now. Already tried the battery.

Tried the battery trick.

I was already on my 93 race tune and selected the 91 perf tune, it actually started the download and then stopped during. Now when I try anything, including my stock tune, I get a " programming unsuccessful/message timeout." When I turn the key, all the dash and warning lights flash and the message center goes through all the errors.

Have you tried hooking up a battery charger? Sometimes the computer can be finicky when the system voltage isn't high enough. I also turn off the headlights and don't turn anything electrical on/off during the process.

I understand where you're at. I've been there a few times and had to wait a few days for SCT to resolve the issue. So far, they've always been able to take care of the problem over the phone or via remotely controlling my computer.

It is on a trickle charger. I even tried going through the process without openig the door or turning on any accessories.

I am disappointed and very leary of this tuner now. What if I was at the track, two hours away? Would they pay the towing bill?

I know what you mean. That's why I never tune the car unless it's in my garage. Shouldn't have to be that way. Hope they get back with you before Tuesday.

I've only seen you say you tried to load a performance tune or the 93 tune. Have you tried to return it back to stock yet?

I finally got a loaner tuner with my recovery file via Fedex. The car now starts and runs on the factory tune. Now I have to send my iTSX and the loaner tuner back and they can try to figure out the issue.

Got my iTSX back yesterday. Luckily I saved my tunes because they were gone off the tuner. Car is up and running again, but I still have my doubts.
