are these foam pads washable and reusable?? i am looking into getting a pc myself but have always wondered about the pads... where can i get the pc and along with everything else i need such as extra pads, the backing plate and the such as a kit/package?

If you've got moderate swirling, as you have mentioned, I'd also recommend the following:

Menzerna Intensive and Final Polishes
Menzerna Power Gloss
Poorboy's SSR 3, SSR 2.5 and SSR 1
Meguiar's #83 Dual Action Cleaner Polish

The 3M PI III RC is a good choice as well. I've used it to get some scratches out of paint using a rotary.

Thanks for all the great info everyone. Right now my truck is buried under a couple feet of snow so its gonna be a while before I start any detailing. I cant wait till spring
