No different than leaving your keys in an unlocked car and wondering why it was stolen. Was it the cars fault? No. Some idiot consciously stole it. But you didn't help the case by making easy for them.
Understand what you're saying, just don't agree.
We live in a free society and in order to enjoy said freedom, we must be responsible and take ownership of our own actions.
What "could" happen has absolutely nothing to do with a criminal breaking the rules or a child not doing what his parents tell him to do.
Rules and laws are rules and laws. If you break them, no one should be accountable except for YOU.
This current society is FAR too focused on justifying wrong doing and looking for reasons why bad behavior is "ok".
Once we pull our heads our of our asses and stop doing that--by making people take ownership for their poor decisions again--we can get back to enjoying freedom that way the Founders intended.
