San Fran Cable Car video from the 60's. Look at all the lead sleds!

Great, nostalgic video, U.M. Thanks for posting it. Cali was VERY different back then. It's but a shadow of what it was. Sad to not only see the now pretty much non-existent older cars, but equally sad to see what the state has evolved into.

The younger generations will never know when cars had identities. Also, I had to pull up the Bullit chase on YT after seeing this.
Unless they travel to Cuba.

Cool video for sure. Pretty sad how the crust of society has deteriorated.

I watch a bunch of the old videos from around the country. They are so killer! They fix it for sound and frames per second, but the 40s and 50s ones are my favorite. Studebakers, Nash, Plymouth! Everywhere!

Best I can tell, 1964. Didn't see any cars newer. The city still looked like that 10 and 25 year later when I lived there.

I remember when they voted in Diane Feinstein, one of her first official acts was to change the color of police cruisers from black and white to blue and white. Because they looked less threatening. The beginning of the end.

2 Jags, a Vette, a couple of Corvairs, several Bugs, and the people on the trolley were dressed for business.

I was waiting for a black hummer to knock the tram off its tracks and a yellow Ferrari to get taken out by it.
