I have handled a few of those my grampa brought back from the war. They may be *mass produced* but they get the fing job done. I may be a bit off, but I seem to remember something about shark skin being used on the handles of the important officers sword. Not sure where I heard that so take it with a grain of salt. DO NOT CLEAN/RESTORE them unless you for sure want to keep them. True collectors will not touch em after you do that. Good looking blades there man!

Unless they turn out to be worth some stupid amount in their current form ($5,000+/ea) my intent is to keep them in my family for generations to come. So because I'll most likely be keeping them, I want them preserved and right now the handle wrap is deteriorating, blades are nicked and dirty as all hell (can't tell if it's blood, oxidation, or something else) and they need a good cleaning. I wouldn't dare attempt a cleaning/restoration myself. I would leave it to a sword restoration expert.
