So earlier this year I got my motorcycle license and I promptly went out and bought a new Harley Iron 883. My buddy has owned one for a few years and he’s really enjoyed it, and honesty it’s pretty intimidating to go test ride bikes on a fresh license so I went with what I knew. I’ve added a couple things (exhaust, intake, tuner) as the year went on and really enjoyed the Harley overall. Overall it was a fun year and I thought the Harley was a good fit for me. Until this weekend. I visited family for Christmas and my dads friend let me borrow his BMW S1000R for a few days. Holy moly that bike is amazing. It does every single thing better than the Harley as I suppose it should. It feels like a part of my spine when cornering, accelerates harder than anything I’ve ever experienced, and really is just like a shot of adrenaline every time you do anything on it. The clutchless quickshifter is super cool too. So the question is....how can I convince my wife I “need” two bikes?
Here’s a pic of the bike I now “need”!
