When my wife told me today I was floored. Stripes was on just last night and I was telling her how much I enjoyed his work and was naming off the movies he wrote/directed to her and she was amazed at how many there were. Some of my all time favorites. He was a comic genius. Usually celebrities passing doesn't have much affect on me but this one does. I really really enjoyed his work. He'll be missed.
