Race in Peace Bob. Great man, great racer, he had some awesome interviews on Carcast with Adam Carolla. Talking about his crash at Watkins Glen, and how he had to start The Bondurant school. Drove a Shelby Daytona racecar for a daily driver to the school for a while. Got it for $7,000.

I attended his school back in the 90's. It was my 1st time on track. ~150 race weekend later, needless to say, that was an impact on my life. The big surprise, was that he was there, and engaged with us a lot. Rest in speedy peace.

His school was how I got into Karting.

I've met him a few times and he was legitimately the nicest people I've ever talked to. He's the only celebrity I've ever met that wouldn't let me leave while conversing lol. RIP.

Sad to hear for sure, I remember going to his racing school back in 05, it was a blast.
