I think it's done in good taste. It's a dark decal on a dark color and doesn't stick out like a sore thumb like chrome yellow wipers stick out on a blue Ricer's Honda.

That reminds me, a few days ago I saw that Auto Zone is now selling 'sticker packs' for 2 bucks that come with NOS stickers as well as Holley and a few other performance companies. To each their own but that's just an invitation to bad taste.
