Look up "Lower Pulley Removal" or similar.

You have to remove the lower pulley w/ cage in order to get the inner belt on.

hi thanks for the additional responses. Hi still have the stock pulley system and already have the inner belt. Sounds like I need to remove the crank pulley, is this just bolted on or do you need a puller tool?
HotCobra03 did you mean just follow the section under

Just took mine apart to do it as well. You might think about a new water pump while you have it apart. Easy to do now instead of having it go 100 miles after you get it together.

i dont think the starter needs removing,,,those are fords steps ,the hardest part is the 14mm nut on the pulley,,i left the car in gear, brake on,and blocked the wheels...used the 5ft jack handle on a half inch braker bar just to break loose the nut,,its gonna be tight,,,in those ford steps they use a flywheel locking tool.then almost everything on the cross brace comes off,,,these other guys have sent you links that are most likly better than what i passed on,,but if you were able to do the blower blet than this is easy,,just that nut is a pita:beer:

Just remember when loosening that lower pulley 14mm hex bolt, it has a REVERSE thread!
Put in Goodyear Gatorback belt and you won't ever have to deal with the annoying belt squeal ever!

Got the belt replaced, stripped out the coolant release at the top of the motor to let the air out of the coolant system, but was able to get it off. Ended up welding a nut to it so it could be reused. Thanks.

If your speaking of the pulley on the cage, its 11mm not 14.
