Removing Inserts

Previous owner put black ones on, i'd like SS inserts.. i am hesitant about taking a heat gun to the insterts.. any suggestions?

A heat gun would be too much, try a hair dryer on medium. The vinyl sometimes can be removed without any heat if you take your time.

No a heat gun wouldnt be to much just to put it right on top of it i just took mine off last week with a heat gun !!Easy

I used a blow dryer and it was ****ing terrible. Mine refused to come off.

I used a Heat gun to remove the chrome inserts on mine. Dont hold it directly on it, just slowly heat it up. If your not good with a heat gun use a blow dryer.

Correct,just heat them up a little at time and use fishing line behind the inserts and slowly remove them.Use 3M adhesive remover to get the glue off.

Just put the chrome or SS inserts over the black ones if you dont want to go near the bumper with a heat gun
