02-06 hyundai elantra. love mine and its only a GLS. if you can find a GT it will have leather and power everything. mid to upper 30's on mpg and zero maintenance costs.

one great little upgrade is swapping the rear sway bar to an 18mm tiburon unit. bar was like $40 and the bushings from hyundai were $8. makes the car a go-kart on the street. also the front brakes can be upgraded to the tiburon calipers and 4 lug sonata rotors for under $200. big brake kit FTW.

i have 140k miles on mine and only issue i have had were power steering leak(my fault) and a starter crapped out.
