Rear axle oil overflow catch can. DIY

Did my gear oil and tranny oil to royal purple this weekend and noticed my axle breather was leaking. Did the research and I'm going to build my own catch can since it'll cost way less then anything I've seen offered. They ranged from $120-200.

Any members interested I'll build extras. Has anyone here built one from scratch? Post here! :coolman:

Hey guy its the fella that took the mt-82 i sold you to rev auto, hows it going? Yeah i just went with the jlt...didnt even think sbout making one. Its a pretty simple piece!

I just replaced the breather fitting with a small straight pipe fitting, clamped a hose to it that mounts above the axle by the trunk floor board, and attached a small pcv breather filter at the end of it. Total cost....$10.
